Sales Executive

Your work centres on incoming calls. You speak to people who reach out to Astrotalk and walk them through what the Astrotalk store offers.

Alongside selling, you help customers with their questions about payments, deliveries and product details. The aim is for each caller to have a smooth, customer-focused conversation, handled professionally over the phone.

You will also have sales targets to meet and go beyond, so promoting products well is a core part of the job.

• Experience: none required, so you can apply without a work history in sales.
• Language: spoken and written English, both listed as required skills.
• Work mode: the post states this is a remote role.

• Practise speaking clearly and calmly for a few minutes at a time. Record yourself and listen back for pace and tone.
• Write a few short messages as if replying to a customer about a delayed delivery or a payment problem. It helps to keep them polite and clear.
• Pick any product and practise explaining it in under a minute, covering what it does and why someone might want it.
• Get comfortable with targets. Think of a time you worked towards a goal, in college or elsewhere, and how you tracked it.
• Check that your phone and internet connection are dependable, since the work is remote and call-based.
