How this site works

Every role here comes from a recruiter's own hiring post. This page explains how a post becomes a job page, what each number on that page means, and what happens when you apply.

Where the roles come from

Recruiters and hiring managers often announce openings in posts rather than on job boards. Hopin finds those posts every day, reads them, and keeps the ones that are entry-level roles in India: internships, trainee programmes and jobs for freshers. Senior roles, and roles outside office work, are left out.

A role stays on this site for at most 45 days from the day it was posted, or until its stated deadline, whichever comes first. After that its page is removed, because a posting that old is usually filled.

How each role is screened

Passing the screen means a role showed none of the warning signs we look for. It does not guarantee an offer, and no one should ever ask you to pay to apply. If anyone does, do not pay, and tell us at help@hopinjobs.com.

What the numbers mean

Pay comparison
Stated pay against roles in the same field
Post attention
Reactions on the hiring post against similar posts
Similar roles open
Comparable roles on this site right now
Company
Other open roles we track, size and recent funding

Pay comparison. When a post states pay with its period, we place it among the other roles in the same field, in the same city where there are enough of them, otherwise across India. "Typical" is the middle value of that group. We never estimate pay a post does not state.

Post attention. The reactions a hiring post has drawn, compared with other hiring posts for similar roles. More attention usually means more applicants, so it is a rough guide to how crowded a role is. We do not publish applicant counts we cannot see.

Skills. The skills a post asks for, next to the skills most often asked for in similar roles, so you can see what the rest of the market expects too.

All comparisons are computed from the hiring posts and listings Hopin has collected over the last 45 days, and recomputed whenever the page is updated, so they move as roles open and close.

How the pages are written

Each page is written with the help of AI from the original posting, then checked before it goes up. Every number must match the posting or our own data, the wording must be new rather than copied, and personal contact details are removed. If something on a page is wrong, write to help@hopinjobs.com and we will fix or remove it.

What happens when you tap Apply

Apply opens WhatsApp with a message naming the role. Send it and Hopin's assistant picks up that exact job. If the recruiter takes applications by email, Hopin prepares your application and sends it to them from your own email. If they use a form or a link, Hopin shares it with you so you can apply directly.
