Full Stack Developer Internship
Envision Next is taking on interns to build web features in Rails, from the database through to the frontend, at its Mumbai office. The stipend is ₹9,000 to ₹10,000 a month for a full-time, six-month stint.
What you would build and who you would learn from
The work covers the whole web stack, with Rails and PostgreSQL at the centre and Hotwire and Tailwind CSS on the interface side. It is split into three areas.
- Application features: you develop features across the backend, the database and the frontend.
- Systems work: you build APIs, connect frontend components to them, and put in real-time features and background jobs.
- Team practice: you take part in code reviews and work with senior developers on improving the architecture and the quality of the code.
Who can apply and what to have ready
The posting accepts only Computer Science Engineering students who can work full time from the office for six months. Your start date must fall between 17th Oct'26 and 21st Nov'26. It also asks for relevant skills and interest.
Required:
- Web basics: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Basic backend understanding, or willingness to learn Rails
- SQL and relational databases
- MVC architecture and REST APIs
- Git basics
Good to have: Ruby on Rails experience, exposure to Hotwire, Turbo or Stimulus, familiarity with Tailwind CSS or Alpine.js, and knowledge of Sidekiq or Redis.

How to prepare before you apply
- It helps to build one small Rails app backed by PostgreSQL, so you can talk about models, views and controllers from real work.
- Practise writing and testing a simple REST API, then connect a basic frontend to it.
- Keep your Git history tidy, with clear commit messages, since code reviews are part of the internship.
- If you have time, try Hotwire and Tailwind CSS in that app, and read up on how background jobs work with Redis.
- Be ready to explain your SQL queries and table design in plain words.
