Client Success Specialist

This role covers the whole client journey for Shopify-related services, starting with finding prospects and ending with getting them settled after they sign.

• Finding and talking to prospects: you research e-commerce businesses and their markets, then reach out by cold calls, emails and networking to build a sales pipeline. You also run discovery sessions to understand each prospect's goals and bottlenecks.
• Showing and selling: you present Shopify through customised demos and walk-throughs, write commercial proposals, negotiate on price and guide the client to sign-off.
• Keeping the client: once a deal closes, you build a lasting relationship and make the onboarding onto Shopify smooth.

The experience field says no experience is required. The other requirements, however, mention hands-on work in e-commerce or digital services sales, so read both lines together before you decide.

• Strong communication, relationship-building and client management skills.
• Consultative selling: understanding what a client needs and suggesting suitable Shopify solutions.
• Self-motivation, a target-driven attitude, a sense of ownership and the ability to work under pressure.
• The job is onsite in Delhi, so you should be able to work from there.

• Put your sales, negotiation or client-facing work near the top of your resume, even if it came from a college project, internship or part-time job.
• Learn the basics of how a Shopify store works, so you can talk about it clearly in a demo-style conversation.
• Practise a short pitch where you ask a business about its goals and problems before suggesting anything.
• Prepare one example of handling a price objection calmly, and one of meeting a target.
• Be ready to explain why you want a role that mixes selling with long-term client care.
