Talent Acquisition Intern

This is a recruitment internship covering the hiring process from finding candidates to following up with them, across both IT and non-IT roles.

• Finding and screening: search for candidates on professional networks and other job portals, go through resumes, shortlist against job requirements, and do first-round screening including telephonic interviews.
• Coordinating: schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, then follow up with candidates on timings and feedback.
• Keeping records: maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers, assist with end-to-end hiring, and build steady relationships with candidates.

You need to have completed a BBA or MBA. Freshers are welcome, so prior recruitment experience is not required, though a basic understanding of recruitment and hiring processes is asked for.

• Familiarity with professional networks and job portals counts as an advantage

Working hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The internship runs for 3 months and can be extended based on performance.

• Brush up on how a hiring process moves from job requirement to offer, so you can speak about it plainly if asked.
• Spend some time searching on professional networks and job portals. Practise finding profiles that match a sample job description.
• Practise a short, clear phone introduction, since telephonic screening is part of the work.
• Set up a simple tracker in a spreadsheet to show how you would organise candidates and interview slots.
• Be ready to explain why you want recruitment work, and how you would handle a full day of calls and follow-ups.
