Business Development Internship

The work centres on retail and MSME borrowers. You find them yourself through field networking, tele-calling, referrals and digital channels. You then explain loan products to each prospect, including interest rates, tenures, processing fees and eligibility, based on that person's financial profile.

Once a prospect is interested, you run a first eligibility check and collect KYC papers such as PAN, Aadhaar, income tax returns, salary slips and bank statements, making sure the application is complete before it moves on.

After that, you enter applications on lender portals or in a CRM and follow each one through underwriting, credit verification, sanction and disbursal. The post also asks you to follow banking regulations, protect customer data and sort out document queries with credit officers.

The post prefers MBA, BBA or B.Com students and looks for a drive to work in sales. Relevant skills and interest are also required.

• You must be available for a part time internship lasting 2 months.
