Operations Executive

The work centres on keeping logistics running smoothly through coordination and accurate records. You would be the link between drivers, depot supervisors, clients, vendors and internal teams.

• Coordination: follow up on vehicle movements, delivery updates and operational requirements, and help the team resolve day-to-day issues.
• Paperwork: maintain bills, invoices and operational records, handle LR and DMR documentation, and assist with expense records and data entry.
• Reporting: prepare and update Excel sheets, MIS reports and daily operational reports.

The post is open to people with 0 to 2 years of experience, so freshers are within range. The role is onsite in Mumbai, so you should be able to work from there.

The posting lists skills in operations, logistics management, operations management, Excel, and SCM operations. You do not need to have all of them, but being comfortable with Excel and paperwork will help.

• Brush up your Excel basics, such as tidy tables, simple formulas and sorting, since reports and data entry are part of the work.
• Learn what common logistics documents are, including LR (lorry receipt), so the terms are familiar in an interview.
• Be ready with an example of coordinating with several people, such as in a college event or a project, and how you kept track of follow-ups.
• Show that you are careful with records. A short note on how you check your work can make a difference.
• Read up on basic supply chain terms so you can talk about vehicle movement and deliveries with confidence.
