Operations Excellence Internship

The work is about making operations run more cleanly and giving leadership clear data to decide with. You support improvement projects across project delivery, procurement, site management, finance and design.

• SOPs: help write and format them, interview team members to map existing workflows across functions, and keep the internal SOP library tagged and indexed.
• Trackers and follow-ups: update the operations improvement tracker, flag delays, and chase open action items across teams.
• Reports: support the weekly project health report (including the RAG tracker), the monthly MIS report, and project dashboards for management reviews.
• Analysis: build summary tables and simple dashboards in Excel or Google Sheets, compare budgeted and actual spend after projects, and track KPIs such as timelines, documentation compliance and vendor performance.
• Rollouts: prepare checklists for stage-gate delivery frameworks and track adoption of the Vizdom project platform.
• AI pilots and tools: collect training data such as BOQ samples and vendor quotation formats, run test cases, document results, and write recommendation notes on new tools.
• Meetings and research: draft agendas and minutes for weekly operations reviews, research industry benchmarks and case studies, and help the VP with special projects and ad hoc analyses.

The post is open to final-year students and recent graduates in architecture, economics, business administration, engineering or a related field. The internship is full-time and in the office.

• You must be able to start between 17 Oct 2026 and 21 Nov 2026, and stay for 3 months.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are expected, including pivot tables, structured dashboards and clean presentations made on your own.
• It asks for structured thinking, clear and concise communication of findings, and close attention to detail.
• You should be curious about how a business runs.
• Familiarity with Asana, Trello, Notion, Jira or similar tools is an advantage, as is earlier internship experience in consulting, operations, finance or supply chain.

A certificate is included along with the stipend.

• Build a small sample workbook in Excel or Google Sheets. Use a pivot table to compare budgeted and actual spend by category, then add a one-page summary.
• Practise a RAG-style status tracker with dummy projects, so you can show you know how to flag delays and anomalies.
• Write a one-page process note on something you know well, such as a college event. It shows you can map steps in order and write them plainly.
• Try a free board in Trello or Notion and keep action items on it for a week. It helps to be able to speak about follow-ups from experience.
• Prepare to explain a past project in three sentences: the problem, your approach, what you found.
