Inside Sales Specialist

This role is about guiding parents through school admissions, so most of your value comes from how clearly and patiently you can talk to them.

• Interact with parents and answer what they want to know.
• Explain how school admissions work so the process feels clear to them.
• Persuade and follow up, since the recruiter lists convincing ability and follow-up as skills for the job.

Both freshers and experienced candidates are welcome. The experience range for this role is 0 to 5 years, so you do not need a sales background to start.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A confident, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Comfort speaking with parents and explaining admissions to them.
• The ability to persuade and to keep following up.

The work is onsite in Bangalore, so check that the location suits you before you apply.

• Practise explaining a process you know well, such as a college admission, in simple steps. This is the kind of explaining parents will expect.
• Prepare one or two examples where you persuaded someone or kept following up until you got an answer. College events or group projects work well.
• Rehearse speaking calmly and clearly on a call, because inside sales depends on your voice and listening.
• Note down questions a worried parent might ask, and think about how you would answer each one honestly.
