Human Resources Internship

This is a hiring-plus-team-management brief, not a pure paperwork role. You would own recruitment from first search to onboarding, then help keep the sales side running.

• Hiring: work out with management how many people are needed, then source, screen, interview and select candidates for HR and sales positions, and onboard whoever joins.
• Sales team building: help build and manage the sales team, set daily, weekly and monthly targets for sales and recruitment, and track leads, conversions, follow-ups and what each person achieves.
• Performance and reporting: watch attendance, productivity and KPIs, run team meetings, training and reviews, look for ways to motivate people and lift results, and send management regular reports on HR, recruitment, sales and team performance.

The posting does not name a degree or a year of study. It asks for these things:

• You can work from home for this internship.

• You have relevant skills and interests.
• You speak both English and Hindi.

On completion you get a certificate and a letter of recommendation.

• It helps to have a clear account of how you would screen candidates: what you would check first and how you would decide who gets an interview.
• Since the work covers both hiring and sales team tracking, show you are comfortable with numbers such as targets, conversions and attendance. A simple tracker you have built yourself is a good example to mention.
• Practise explaining things in both spoken English and spoken Hindi. Interviewing and running team meetings depend on it.
• Prepare one example of motivating a group or improving a result, from a college club, a project or a part-time job.
• Be ready to say how you would write a short, clear performance report for managers.
