Human Resources Intern

The work splits between hiring support, HR paperwork and keeping track of company equipment.

• Recruitment: help with the hiring process from sourcing candidates and screening resumes to posting openings on professional networks and other job portals, coordinating interviews and following up with candidates.
• HR operations: assist with onboarding, joining formalities and documentation, keep employee records, attendance sheets and recruitment trackers up to date, and support daily HR and administrative work.
• IT asset records: maintain records of laptops, desktops and other office equipment, track allocation, issuance, returns and handovers, update asset registers when items are assigned or returned, and coordinate with employees so the paperwork is in order.

The posting is meant for people who are pursuing, or have recently completed, a BBA, an MBA in HR or a related field. The internship is based in Vadodara and is on-site.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills
• Willingness to learn HR processes and IT asset management
• Responsible, detail-oriented and proactive in approach

The post lists the duration as 3 or 6 months.

• Brush up your Excel basics, such as tidy tables, sorting and filters, since much of the work involves trackers and registers.
• Be ready to talk about a time you kept records accurate, whether in a college project, a club or a part-time task.
• Learn how a recruitment cycle runs from sourcing to joining, so you can speak about each step clearly.
• Practise a short, polite follow-up message to a candidate, as communication is a stated requirement.
