What the work covers
The post bundles several executive openings. Between them, the duties are:
- Dispatch: arrange daily truck dispatches and load assignments, stay in touch with drivers, carriers, brokers and internal teams, and keep an eye on pickup and delivery appointments.
- Billing: prepare and check invoices and rate confirmations, then keep records of completed loads, payments and unpaid invoices. Mismatches get sorted out with the operations and accounts teams.
- Payroll and fuel: help with payroll processing, employee records and work-hour checks, and watch fuel spend and consumption reports for discrepancies.
- Safety and compliance: maintain driver, carrier and vehicle paperwork, track insurance certificates and permits, and chase pending documents.
- Tracking and reporting: follow truck locations and delivery progress, update tracking systems, flag delays, and prepare daily operational reports in MS Excel.
