Backend Web Development Internship

The work is backend. You would write and look after the services behind web application features. You would also create REST APIs, connect them to the app and test them, using Node.js and Express.js. Next.js comes in for application development and integration.

When something breaks, you trace the bug and fix it, and you help the application run better. You also take part in project work and technical talks with your teammates.

Code quality counts. You are expected to stick to the team's coding standards and keep what you write tidy, easy to read and easy to maintain.

This one is for freshers. Current students, recent graduates and aspiring developers can all apply.

• You should know the basics of JavaScript, Node.js and Express.js.
• You need real interest in backend work and a readiness to learn by doing.
• You will work remotely with a team, so you should be able to carry your share responsibly.

It also helps if you know Next.js, REST APIs, databases and backend architecture, but these are described as useful, not required.

• Build a small API with Node.js and Express.js, test its routes, and keep it in a public repository you can share.
• Revise core JavaScript until you can explain every line you wrote.
• Try a simple Next.js project, since the role touches it.
• Learn how a backend talks to a database, even at a basic level.
• Remote work rewards clear written updates, so practise explaining what you did and where you are stuck.
