Associate

This is a business-facing finance role. The work centres on relationships: you build them and keep them strong. You also work closely with the business, so you need a real feel for how it runs.

Communication matters a lot, both spoken and written. The role also asks for sound judgment and business sense, not only technical knowledge.

There is an investigative side too. The role needs someone curious who can dig into a question and look into it properly.

• 0 to 6 months of experience in the financial industry, or an educational background in Finance.
• Basic knowledge of financial principles and concepts.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• A curious mindset and the ability to investigate.

The role is onsite and permanent.

• Revise your finance basics so you can explain core concepts in plain words, since basic financial knowledge is a stated requirement.
• Prepare one or two examples from college or an internship where you worked with other people and kept a relationship going.
• Practise writing short, clear emails. Written communication is part of the job.
• Have a story ready about a time you looked into a problem and found the cause. It shows curiosity and the ability to investigate.
• Brush up on Excel. It is tagged for this role, and it is common across similar ones.
