Video Editing/Making Internship

Your work is short-form video for social media and advertising: Instagram Reels, ads, doctor and brand videos, and UGC content. You take raw footage and shape it into tight, well-paced pieces. That means picking the strongest clips, restructuring footage when needed, and adding subtitles, transitions, graphics, sound effects and background music where a video calls for them.

The editing style changes with each client's brand identity, and you cut for Instagram, Facebook and paid ad formats. You work with the content team to understand hooks, retention and storytelling, and you make revisions based on both internal and client feedback.

There is some housekeeping too. You keep project files and raw footage libraries organised, and you help out during content shoots when required.

• You must be based in Mumbai and available for a full-time, in-office internship lasting 3 months.
• You should be able to start between 19 October 2026 and 23 November 2026.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• A video editing portfolio or showreel is compulsory.
• You need a good understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.
• Knowledge of Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve is asked for. After Effects is an advantage.
• Candidates who follow current editing styles and social media trends are preferred.

• Build your showreel around short-form work. A few Reels-style edits with clear pacing will say more than a long, slow compilation.
• Show range. Since the style changes by client brand, include pieces that look and feel different from each other.
• Include subtitles, transitions and sound design in your samples, so your reel shows these details done properly.
• Be ready to explain why you cut a clip where you did. It helps to talk about hooks and retention in your own words.
• If you know After Effects, add one piece that uses it, since it counts as an advantage here.
