UI/UX Design Internship

• Help design interfaces for websites, mobile apps and digital products, including dashboards, landing pages, website layouts and app screens, with responsive versions for desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Do user research on needs, preferences and behaviour, run basic usability tests, collect feedback, and suggest improvements to existing designs based on it.
• Produce wireframes, user flows, mockups and clickable prototypes in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Keep designs consistent through reusable components, icons, colours and type styles, and apply usability and accessibility principles.
• Work with developers, product managers and marketing teams to understand project requirements, then prepare documentation and handoff assets for developers.
• Take part in design reviews, act on feedback from senior designers, keep up with design trends and tools, and build a portfolio from real projects.

The internship is open to candidates who can work from home and are available for a duration of 1 month. You should be able to start between 17th Oct'26 and 21st Nov'26, and you need relevant skills and interest in the work. Women who want to start or restart their careers can also apply.

The skills listed are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, UI development, wireframing, UI and UX design, Adobe After Effects, Sketch, Adobe XD and Figma.

• It helps to have two or three pieces ready that show your process, from wireframe to flow to final screens, rather than only polished visuals.
• Practise building a clickable prototype in Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch, since the work centres on these tools.
• Show that you can design one screen for desktop, tablet and mobile, as responsive layouts are part of the duties.
• Try a small usability test with a few friends and write down what you changed afterwards. It shows you can act on feedback.
• Practise writing short handoff notes for a design, because developers will need clear documentation.
