What you'll do on the phones
You call students who have already shown interest in studying abroad, introduce Edvia, and work out who is serious enough to speak to a senior counsellor. It is a calling job first, but the paperwork is part of it.
- Calls: at least 100 a working day, with an expected range of 100-124 depending on lead availability and how long conversations run. The brief is to have real conversations, not just chase volume. You ask about their college, course, year of study, preferred country or course, and IELTS/PTE/TOEFL status.
- Appointments and follow-ups: book one-to-one counselling sessions for qualified, interested students, confirm them and check in before the session. You also do callbacks and revisit leads already contacted. Basic objections are yours to handle; detailed counselling questions go to the senior counselling team.
- Records and reporting: log calls, follow-ups, appointments and remarks every day in CRM or Google Sheets, and send an end-of-day report. You work with the counselling and business development team to improve lead quality and appointment attendance.
