Software Testing Internship
QuickHyre is looking for a software testing intern to work remotely on manual, usability and database testing. The stipend is ₹30,000 to ₹42,000 a month, which sits well above what similar remote internships in this field typically pay.
What you would be testing and reporting
Your main work is manual testing: going through the software to find bugs and problems. You would also run usability testing, looking at how the product feels to use and how its interface is designed, and test the database side to check that data stays accurate and intact.
You would write test cases from the project requirements and then run them. When something fails, you work with the developers to trace the defect and get it fixed, and you write up what you found so the results can be analysed and acted on.
The posting also expects you to keep learning current testing practices and techniques as you go.
Who this internship is open to
The posting is meant for Computer Science Engineering students who have relevant skills and a real interest in testing. Check these conditions before you go further:
- You can work from home for the full 3 months.
- You can start between 16 October 2026 and 20 November 2026.
- You have skills in software testing, manual testing, database testing and usability testing, which are the four skills listed.
The internship runs 5 days a week. There are 2 openings, and a certificate and a letter of recommendation are listed as perks.
How the stipend compares
At ₹30,000 to ₹42,000 a month, this pays well above typical for internships in the same field that are also remote. If stipend matters to you, this is a strong point in its favour.

- Practise describing a bug clearly, so a developer could reproduce it without asking you anything.
- Revise basic database ideas such as how records relate and what makes data accurate, so database testing questions do not catch you off guard.
- Look at a product's screens and note where the layout or flow confuses you. That is the habit usability testing builds on.
- Be ready to say when in the start window you can begin, and to confirm you can commit to all 3 months.
