Software Developer Internship
Migsak, a software company in Bengaluru, is looking for a remote Software Developer intern to work on live client projects. You would receive no stipend for the first 3 months, and applications close on 3 Nov 2026.
What you would work on at Migsak
Migsak is a small team making client software: websites, web and mobile apps, and automation. Interns get hands-on client work rather than practice tasks.
- Carry features or small products all the way to a live release, with very little supervision.
- Design screens, write the front-end code for them, build APIs and backend services, and shape the data underneath.
- Lean on AI coding tools for speed, but be able to explain every line you submit. You also post a daily online update and present your progress when the team meets in person.
What you need to bring, and the hours to plan for
Migsak wants someone who can begin a problem without being told each step, and who learns a new framework or tool within a few days. Before you apply, check that you have:
- Working knowledge of the front end, APIs, backend and databases.
- A sense of design good enough to keep a screen tidy and easy to use.
- At least one project you created from scratch and put live yourself.
- Experience building with AI coding tools, which the team already expects.
Extra points for React, Next.js, Flutter, Node.js, FastAPI or PostgreSQL, a public GitHub, or any freelance work.
The schedule is remote, with a minimum of 4 focused hours on each weekday and 8 hours spread over the weekend. There is a short daily online meeting, plus meetups in Bengaluru at least twice a month. You must stay on for all 3 months.

Screening status
- Passed Hopin's scam screen
This listing cleared Hopin's screening checks and appears as a job listing. Since the first 3 months carry no pay, weigh that carefully before you apply.
What to do before you send your application
- Choose the project you built and deployed on your own, and practise telling its story from the first commit to the live version.
- Clean up your GitHub so your strongest work is the first thing a reviewer sees.
- Prepare a short, honest account of how you use AI coding tools and how you check what they produce.
- Refresh REST APIs, database design and React, so you can discuss them without hesitation.
- Look at your weekly calendar and the Bengaluru meetups, and confirm you can keep to the schedule for the full term.
