Project Management - Internship

You back up a project manager by helping plan and organise project work, and by keeping it moving across teams. You are also expected to own the tasks given to you and sort out routine project snags on your own.

• Tracking: update trackers, timelines and task schedules in Excel or another project tool. Watch progress, chase pending items, follow milestones so assigned work finishes on time, and help flag delays, risks and challenges.
• Coordination: work with different teams, share project updates, follow up with team members, help allocate resources and team needs, and support the manager on deliverables and deadlines.
• Documents and ideas: prepare meeting agendas, notes and status reports, keep project records in order, research information for live projects, and suggest better workflows and coordination.

The posting wants candidates who:

• can work from home for the full 3 months
• can start between 18 October 2026 and 22 November 2026
• have relevant skills and a real interest in project management, planning and team coordination
• have basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or project management tools
• are organised, proactive and willing to learn

• Build a small tracker in Excel or Google Sheets, with tasks, owners, dates and status. Be ready to show it and explain how you keep it current.
• Practise writing a short status update and meeting notes. Clear, brief writing matters when your job is to keep people informed.
• Prepare an example where you followed up on a late task or a missed deadline, and say what you did.
• Since spoken English is a listed skill, practise explaining a plan or a delay out loud, simply and calmly.
• Think of one or two ways a workflow you know could be better coordinated. The role asks you to suggest improvements.
