Product & R&D Intern

You sit in the Product & R&D team and build robotics hardware alongside the founders. Expect to work with your hands.

• Soldering electronic components by hand, for prototypes as well as finished product units.
• Running 3D printers without supervision: getting them set up, printing, calibrating and keeping them maintained.
• Inspecting soldered boards and printed parts for quality, and helping the team build and test new products.

This is a skills-first ask. The requirements are:

• Prior hands-on work soldering electronic parts.
• Working knowledge of 3D printing, enough to operate a printer from start to finish.
• A grasp of basic mechanical and manufacturing ideas.
• High agency: you pick things up yourself and take ownership of what you do.
• Real curiosity about robotics and technology.

You must also be able to come in to the Krishna Nagar location in East Delhi on weekdays, Monday to Friday, through the whole 3-month duration. There are 1 to 2 openings, and the start date is immediate.

• Be ready to talk about a board or circuit you have soldered yourself, including what went wrong and how you fixed it.
• If you have used a 3D printer, bring photos or samples of prints and explain how you calibrated and maintained the machine.
• Practise explaining how you would inspect a soldered board or a printed part for faults.
• Have one example of a project you started and finished without anyone assigning it, since the role leans on ownership.
• The stipend comes up after the interview, so decide beforehand what questions you want to ask about it.
