Intern

The Centre works where brain imaging, neuroscience, high-performance computing and AI meet. Interns take on research and technology projects in one of these areas:

• Software and AI: full stack development, or large language models and generative AI.
• Imaging and vision: image processing and machine learning, or 3D reconstruction and visualization.
• Systems: DevOps and infrastructure engineering.

The posting is meant for final-year students and recent graduates from leading colleges. You do not need to cover every area. Read the job descriptions on the original posting, choose the one that suits you best, and apply for that one.

The posting asks for interest in at least one of the five areas above. It does not list specific skills, tools or a minimum grade here, so the individual job descriptions are where to check the detail.

• Pick one domain and go deep. Applying for any one is allowed, so a focused application will read better than a vague one.
• Read the full job description for your chosen area before you write anything, and match your projects to it.
• Have something to show: a small project, a repo or a write-up related to your area, such as an image pipeline, an LLM demo or a deployed app.
• Be ready to explain your coursework or project work simply. Research settings tend to value people who can say what they tried and what they learned.
