HR Recruiter Internship

You would start at the top of the hiring funnel: finding potential candidates on job portals and other hiring platforms, going through applications, shortlisting suitable profiles and doing a first round of screening against what each role needs.

From there you move into logistics. That means scheduling interviews, coordinating AI interview assessments and staying in touch with candidates while the process runs. You also keep the paperwork current: candidate databases, hiring trackers, where each interview stands, and a daily recruitment report.

The last stretch is closing. You chase shortlisted candidates, help with documents and joining formalities, and push towards monthly hiring targets.

The posting wants someone who is studying for, or has finished, a degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or a closely related area, and who cares about recruitment, talent acquisition and HR operations. It also asks for:

• Solid English and people skills
• An organised, proactive approach, and ease with following up on candidates
• A working grasp of Excel, Google Sheets and recruitment platforms

Timing: weekdays, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for at least 6 to 12 months. You need to be able to start between 18 Oct and 22 Nov 2026 and be free for 6 months.

• Get comfortable with spreadsheets. Practise building a simple tracker in Excel or Google Sheets with candidate names, stages and status, since record-keeping is a core part of this work.
• Be ready to talk about how you manage your time. Evening slots every weekday for months is a real commitment, so show you have thought about how it fits around college or other work.
• Practise explaining things clearly, both aloud and in writing. Recruiter roles involve a lot of talking and messaging with candidates.
• If you have helped organise events, placements or club recruitment, mention it with specifics on how you coordinated people and followed up.
