• A working level in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.js.
• REST APIs, MongoDB, Express.js and Node.js should not be new to you.
• Comfort with Git and GitHub, plus building layouts that adapt to different screens.
• You solve problems well and are keen to pick up new tools.
• You communicate clearly, take initiative, and can cope with startup pace.

A bonus: JWT, authentication and database design. Projects of your own, GitHub repos or past development work get preference.

• Put a working MERN project on GitHub. The post prefers candidates with projects or repositories, so this counts for a lot.
• Build one small app with JWT login and role-based access. It touches the security duties and the listed bonus skill.
• Be ready to explain how you modelled your MongoDB data with Mongoose and why.
• Keep your commit history tidy and your code readable. Code reviews are part of the work.
• Practise describing a bug you tracked down and fixed, since debugging is a named duty.
