Event Management Internship

The work centres on getting athletes registered and checked in for Kushti Ka Mahasangram 2027, then supporting the event itself.

• Register athletes, key in their details, verify documents and keep each athlete's record accurate, using Google Sheets or Excel.
• Run athlete check-ins, help with weigh-in records and category checks, and keep the registration desks working smoothly.
• Talk to athletes, coaches and team members, and answer their questions about registration.
• Help coordinate on the event days, 5 to 7 January 2027, at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.

Both students and freshers can apply. Earlier event experience is not needed, though a liking for sports, wrestling or event work counts as a plus.

• You need to be free for a 4-week remote internship, starting any time from 17 Oct 2026 to 21 Nov 2026.
• You must be physically present at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, on 5 to 7 January 2027.
• Strong communication and coordination are expected, along with spoken English and spoken Hindi.
• Some working knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel is preferred.
• The post looks for people who are organised, punctual, careful with detail and at ease in a team, and who keep to the agreed schedule and finish tasks on time.

A certificate is offered at the end.

• Build a practice attendee sheet with consistent columns, sorting and filters. Clean records are the backbone of this kind of work.
• It helps to practise giving short, polite answers in both Hindi and English, since you will be dealing with athletes, coaches and team members.
• Read up on how weigh-ins and weight categories work in combat sports so the terms are familiar from day one.
• Block 5 to 7 January 2027 early and plan how you will reach New Delhi, since being there in person is required.
• In your application, mention any college event where you looked after a desk, a list or a group of people.
