What you would work on
The post describes a database role: researching, building, validating and maintaining company and CXO-level contact databases, so that they are accurate, standardised and ready for campaigns and events. The work covers the following.
- Research new company and senior contact records using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Lusha and other approved sources.
- Find decision-makers such as CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Chief AI Officers and heads of IT, infrastructure, data, analytics, digital transformation and engineering.
- Build account databases to client criteria (industry, geography, employee size, turnover, designation, target persona), and city, state or country databases for campaigns and events.
- Complete records for client wish lists and accounts that could not be found earlier.
- Classify companies by industry and sub-industry, tag them (MNC, GCC, ET 500, BS 1000 and similar), and categorise technology functions such as AI, ML, cloud and cybersecurity.
- Keep records current: check designations, update turnover, size, website, LinkedIn URL and location, and mark contacts as left, retired, invalid, duplicate or not reachable.
- Standardise company names across subsidiaries, legal entities, parents and groups.
- Fix outdated, duplicate, incomplete or irrelevant records, clean up historical data, and run quality checks before databases go to client, event or vertical teams.
