Computer Vision Intern
MailerMen is seeking a Computer Vision Intern to enhance visual quality processes. This is an unpaid internship offering valuable mentorship and project experience.
Key responsibilities in the internship
You will work on creating a PyTorch classifier to distinguish between good logos and subpar uploads. Your tasks will also include developing a training set from over 8,000 images and implementing an OCR pipeline for verifying names on certificates. Additionally, you will evaluate image augmentation strategies using real data and participate in biweekly demos with engineers who will provide constructive code reviews.
Who is a suitable candidate?
This position is open to final-year students or recent graduates with a background in engineering or science. Candidates should have knowledge of Python, NumPy, and basic image handling, as well as some coursework or project experience involving convolutional neural networks (CNNs). You will need to be available for three days a week in Pune over a period of three months for this unpaid internship.
