Business Development (Sales) Internship

• Reaching out to schools: approach principals, directors and teachers, introduce NextDrona, explain what it offers and try to book product demos.
• Running demos: present NextDrona online or in person, walk through its features and find out what each school needs.
• Following up: stay in touch with interested schools to move them towards adopting the product.
• Keeping records: update lead details and track upcoming demos and follow-ups.
• Reporting daily: share progress each day and work with the business development and technical teams to resolve customer queries.

The internship is full time and in-office, for 6 months. You need to be able to begin between 16th Oct'26 and 20th Nov'26, and the posting expects relevant skills and interest in the work.

• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ease in speaking with principals, directors, teachers and school management.
• Basic knowledge of computers, web applications and educational technology.

The listed skills are presentation, digital marketing, MS-Excel, client relationship, customer acquisition and spoken communication.

• Practise a two-minute pitch for a product you know well, then deliver it aloud. This role is built around spoken explanation.
• Prepare to speak politely and clearly with senior people such as principals. Role-play a cold call with a friend.
• Brush up on MS-Excel basics such as sorting and filtering, since lead and follow-up tracking is part of the work.
• Look up how schools use technology for teaching, so you can ask sensible questions about their needs.
• Prepare an example of following up with someone until you got an answer. It shows the persistence sales work needs.
