SmartEd Innovations is hiring business development interns in Bangalore, with 30 openings. The stipend is ₹25,000 to ₹28,000 a month, but part of it depends on incentives.

What you would be doing

  • Finding leads: research possible clients using online platforms, databases and networking, then reach out by phone, email and LinkedIn to introduce what the company offers.
  • Pitching and qualifying: present products or services to prospects, and work out what they need so you can decide who is worth taking further.
  • Staying in touch: keep up regular contact with prospects to build the relationship over time.
  • Research: study industry trends, competitors and what customers need.
  • Team work: work closely with the sales and marketing teams so strategies line up.
  • Targets and reports: help the team hit its monthly lead generation and sales targets, and write daily or weekly updates on lead progress, client conversations and results.
