Business Analytics Internship

This is a hands-on analysis internship where you look at business processes and data, then turn what you find into something others can use.

• Study business requirements, processes and datasets to spot trends, gaps and room for improvement, and help gather, organise and interpret data for decisions.
• Build business reports, dashboards, presentations and documentation as each project needs them.
• Work on practical analysis projects covering problem-solving and process improvement, join mentor-guided sessions, finish assigned tasks and present your findings.

The posting is quite open. College students from any year can apply, as can freshers, recent graduates and people with a career gap. Women restarting their careers are also welcome.

• Background: degrees or diplomas in business analytics, business administration, economics, computer science, statistics, maths or related fields are preferred, but any academic background is accepted.
• Skills: MS-Office, MS-Excel, spoken English and research and analytics. Basic Excel, SQL or Power BI is preferred, not mandatory.
• Availability: you need to be free for 2 months and able to start between 17th Oct'26 and 21st Nov'26.
• Attitude: willingness to learn and finish assigned work with mentor guidance.

• It helps to be comfortable in Excel. Practise cleaning a small dataset and summarising it with pivot tables and simple charts.
• Put together one short sample report or dashboard from any public dataset, so you can show you can go from raw numbers to a clear takeaway.
• Since the work involves presenting findings, practise explaining a result out loud in two or three plain sentences.
• If you have time, learn basic SQL queries. The post calls SQL helpful, and it is a common ask in similar roles.
• Be ready to say, with an example, how you would approach a vague business problem and what data you would look at first.
