• You need to be able to work on-site in Bengaluru, at the Pai Layout office.
• You should be comfortable with either computer vision or LLMs and automation, since the AI roles are split along those lines.
• Working closely with founders in an early-stage company is part of the setup.

• Decide which track you fit, Vision or LLMs and automation, and be ready to say why. Lead with work that matches it.
• Keep one or two projects you can explain end to end: the problem, what you built, what went wrong and what you changed.
• Read up on how AI is used in renewable energy so you can talk about the sector with some interest.
• Since you would work close to founders, practise explaining technical choices in plain language.
• Be clear on your years of experience and how they map to the 2–5 year range.
