AI Agent Development Internship

The internship is about using AI agents to make production work better, with the spreadsheet analysis, planning and testing that come with it. The post names these duties:

• Work with the development team to plan and build AI agents that improve production processes.
• Use Claude and MS-Excel to study production data and spot where things can improve.
• Help draft production plans and schedules so resources are used well.
• Work with production managers to simplify operations and raise productivity.
• Take part in testing and debugging the agents, checking that they work reliably.

• You must be free for a full-time, in-office internship.
• You should be able to start between 19 Oct 2026 and 23 Nov 2026.

• Brush up your Excel. It helps to be comfortable sorting, filtering and summarising a sheet of production figures and explaining what the numbers say.
• Learn the basics of production planning and scheduling. Be ready to explain how you would sequence jobs when resources are limited.
• Try Claude on a small data task, such as asking it to review a sample sheet. Note where its answers needed checking.
• If you come from a BCA background, practise describing a test you ran and a bug you fixed. Mechanical candidates can do the same with a process problem they solved.
• Prepare one or two points on a recent AI development that could apply to manufacturing.
